A podcast is an audio or video method of communication with your audience.

So why podcast?  I podcast because I like communicating verbally.

But today I am doing a post (written communication).  Why?  Because I feel that all podcasters first need to learn how to post on a blog and build a following.  As they build their following (traffic) you start to add podcasting.  Remember that the search engines cannot read your podcast and add it to their database.  So all podcasts must have "show notes" attached to them.  The "Show Notes" are for the search engines to read as well as your audience who don't want to listen you to talk.

I will get into more of the business of podcasting as time goes on.
